Guangzhou South China Biological Medicine Co., Ltd ( hereinafter referred to as “SCBM” ) is a professional manufacturer engaged in the production, marketing and technical services of veterinary products that used for prevention, diagnosis and treatment, which is a hi-tech enterprise shared by South China Agricultural University and other units with independent corporate capacity, and is the highly pathogenic vaccine of avian influenza production units designated by the Ministry of Agriculture. In 2015, SCBM was taken over by Tianjin Ringpu Bio-Technology Co., Ltd (stock code 300119) and became its subsidiary.
SCBM was founded in December of 2006, located in hi-tech industry zone Zengcheng, Guangzhou with 33,300 square meters. There are three production lines as GMP that issued by National Ministry of Agriculture: inactivated avian influenza vaccines, inactivated embryotoxic vaccines and inactivated cytotoxic vaccines. With annual output of 10 billion doses of animal bio-products, SCBM is one of the biggest production base for animal bio-products in south China. The company has established a relatively sound laboratory animal center, and the laboratory animal room was checked by Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province in 2008 with the experimental animal license (barrier environment,isolated environment, general environment)

Avian Influenza Vaccine, Inactivated (H5N2 Subtype, Strain D7) has got the certificate of new veterinary medicine[ (2013)new veterinary medicine NO.12 ] issued by Ministry of Agriculture, which is a scientific research achievement mutually cooperated with South China Agricultural University and China Veterinary Drug Inspection Institute. SCBM successfully obtained the production approval number and its products were included in the procurement catalog of vaccine by National Government.
At the beginning of its establishment, SCBM had a close cooperation with Veterinary College of South China Agricultural University, and also actively cooperated with other relative research and development institutions,for example,it had signed an agreement of new product cooperation development and intellectual property exclusive permission with universities and scientific research institutions like Fujian Academy of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Research Institute and China Veterinary Drug Inspection Institute.SCBM has such over 10 projects above provincial level as “National Spark Program”, “Project of National Agricultural Science and Technology Achievements on Fund Transformation”, and “ Project of National SME Development Funds” and so forth, which has also gained the Science and Technology Progress Award above provincial level for many times, including the project of Development and Promotion of Avian Influenza Inactivated Vaccine honored as “Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award ”.Meanwhile, it had the honor to get honorary title such as “Guangzhou Municipal Enterprise Technology Center” , “Key Laboratory Construction Base in Guangzhou”, “ Provincial Key Innovation and Helping High-growing SME (Private Enterprises)”, “Guangdong Compliance and Integrity of Veterinary Medicine in 2012” and “Little Giant of Science and Technology in Guangzhou” and so forth.
